Walk at Lac Blanc in Pralognan la Vanoise

A hike in the heart of the Vanoise National Park with a splendid lake at the foot of the glaciers.

Some data : 700m D+ / 3h30 to go / 20km round trip

To reach this lake, the hike is quite steep but it is worth it.

Park at the parking of the fishing bridge and let’s go!

The path starts with a steep climb to reach the refuge of the “Roc de la pêche” where you can have something to eat and refresh yourself.

Then, direction the refuge of Peclet-Polset. It starts with a big flat part and then a big climb through the pastures and you will be at the refuge.

Continue to climb for another 10 minutes and you will see the Lac Blanc below.

The return is by the same trail.

During this hike, keep your eyes open… many marmots will be around you.
